CX6570 Series Lock Body – Technical Overview

The CX6570 series is a magnetically actuated latch lock body, engineered for precision installation in interior door systems. It is offered in two standardized configurations:

• CX6570K: keyhole variant — 90 mm center-to-center distance, 70 mm backset
• CX6570: bathroom (privacy) hole variant — 90 mm center-to-center distance, 70 mm backset

The latch bolt is intentionally offset toward the lower quadrant of the lock case, deviating from conventional centered layouts. This design accommodates non-standard door stile cutouts and is not interchangeable with lock bodies such as those in the CX410 series.

Magnetic engagement is achieved through a stacked permanent magnet assembly, optimized for sustained flux density and long-term operational stability. The resulting latching action is acoustically neutral—suitable for environments where auditory discretion is critical, including residential bedrooms, healthcare facilities, and high-end hospitality interiors.
